You’ve bought yourself a disc printer and you’re happy with how it works but was there something you missed when deciding on which printer to go for?
Cost of print is always important but what about the availability of Ink?
A lot of manufacturers chip there cartridges so you can only use cartridges supplied by them. This is common and an expensive way to print but there are a few things to be careful of.
- They could increase the prices at any time and you would have no choice but to pay these.
- They might choose to stop supplying these as new printers come out.
- The manufacturer may disappear leaving you with a printer that you cannot support or buy ink for.
